It is close to the road yet sits on 13 acres including a pond. Wildlife sightings are commonplace and the house is only 10 minutes to Monson and 30 minutes to Greenville. Guests can easily access all of the amenities of The Moosehead lake region and snowmobile and ATV access are less than 1 mile away.

Enjoy your stay on the picturesque Piscataquis River in Maine. You will enjoy 175 ft of private river frontage out your back door in a newly remodeled cottage. We are 20 min to the Moosehead region, 10 min to the Appalachian trail and the 100 mile wilderness trail head. There are many beautiful hikes, ponds, lakes, streams, ATV and snowmobile trails nearby to enjoy and the best part is coming back and unwinding to the rippling river, the crackling fire pit and the starlit skies.

Moosehead Lake, Greenville, The Forks, Bingham, The Windmills all close by. The Appalachian Trail borders the property. Hike Borestone Mtn, Barren Mtn, Big Squaw, or the AT. Town beach is also close by for swimming in Lake Hebron. Park your truck and ride your ATV/Snowmobile to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, lakes, and mountains.

Beautiful ALL season home in the Maine woods. Trailer access to ATV trails and direct access to Maines Interconnected Trail System for snowmobiles (ITS). Great location on Piper Pond for swimming, fishing and kayaking! Private home with plenty of room for the whole family. 7 beds in 4 bedrooms with two separate office spaces. Easy access to hiking and Moosehead Lake region. House comes with 5 kayaks, one canoe, paddles and life jackets.

Waterfront on Whetstone Pond

Perfect for one or two couples or one couple with children. WestView sits 25 feet from the edge of Whetstone Pond with views of Russell Mountain and spectacular sunsets from its 7 acre perch. I live at a campsite which is barely visible from the cabin. Our one neighbor, also barely visible through the trees, loves their privacy as well.
