This charming, comfortable miner’s cottage is full of character, and perfectly located close to local amenities. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Aberdare town centre and train station, with excellent connections for exploring South Wales. Zip World, Pontneddfechan waterfall and Bike Park Wales are only a 10 minute drive, and the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park and Pen Y Fan is only a 30 minute drive. The property is an ideal base to explore and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

It is within walking distance of local shops, restaurants, Aberdare Park and Dare Valley Country Park. Rail/Bus station 15 min walk. By car attractions are easily accessible - Brecon Beacons, Pen y Fan, Zip World, Rock UK Climbing Centre, Bike Park Wales. Beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and country walks. Blue Flag Beaches a little further.

Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.
