Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. Granary 1 is set around a courtyard with two other properties and opposite The Old Barn Tearoom. The Taff Trail runs past the main gate and Pen y Fan is within walking distance. The property is in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park between the Iron Heritage town of Merthyr and Brecon. There is walking and biking from the front door, the Brecon Mountain Railway and Bike Park Wales are also close at hand.
