The place has an abundance of traditional features: patterned hand-made floor tiles, soaring ceilings, timber beams, hand-made wrought iron railings and natural golden-stone walls that will take you back in time while you immerse yourself in the heart of this ancient vibrant town. All apartments have been designed to be fully self-catering with all modern amenities including full kitchen (oven/hob/dishwasher), orthopaedic mattresses, 100% cotton bedsheets, independent bathroom/shower, AC and WIFI throughout. This is the first floor suite which occupies the entire first floor. It has an independent bedroom and separate ensuite bathroom. A sofa bed in the living area is available for additional guests. The suite has its own private closed traditional verandah overlooking the ancient winding street below. It has access to two other levels of outdoor roof spaces/sundecks with views over town. These spaces are common and shared with the other single-bedroom (penthouse) apartment in the same building. It also has access to a shared washing machine/dryer/ironing facilities. Guests will be able to access all common parts of the property (entrance/ground floor lobby/ two levels of outdoor spaces/sundeck). PLEASE NOTE: this apartment is on the first floor with a flights of stairs and no elevator. We live on the island and are happy to provide any help, information, advice or recommendations as required. The townhouse is nestled in the pedestrian heart of Gozo—the Isle of Joy—among ancient alleyways of the old capital. It's 50 yards from the Basilica of St. George and its fabulously vibrant square. On foot, bicycle or public transport is best. From the lounge a staircase leads downstairs to the basement with it's bedroom, a passage to the bathroom(shower only)and the dressing room. The King size bed can be separated and configured into single beds. Our guests are invited to sit in the beautifully landscaped garden on their own terrace with sun loungers and side table or enjoy the big swimming pool . From here stunning views over the whole bay and the surrounding mountains as well as spectacular sunsets will delight your senses. We respect the privacy of our guests yet we enjoy to extend hospitality and the feeling of home from home .We are available under the same roof to advise,support,recommend and help our guests to make their stay a memorable one. Camps Bay offers restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, and different beaches. It has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town, due to privately organised street patrols and security companies. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. MyCity bus stop is circa 400m away on Geneva Drive with one route clockwise and another anticlockwise to transport visitors either to town or downhill to the Promenade . Folding doors lead onto an expansive pool deck with sun loungers and a gas barbecue all for the exclusive use of the apartment guests. There is a full kitchenette with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, an en suite bathroom, lounge area with a large flat panel TV and an open-plan dining area. The apartment is serviced daily except for Sundays and public holidays. We have solar and battery power so are not affected by power outages.
