Kanda West - Walk to the Beach/Surf/Cafes

Welcome to Kanda West, our lovingly restored home that dates back to the 1970s. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, while being a 1-minute walk to one of the best cafes in the area, a 3-minute walk to a beach that's great for snorkelling and swimming, and less than 10 minutes walk to our nearest surf spot. The house comes with its own private pluge pool too, an essential in the Tropics! For larger groups, Kanda East adjoins this property, and sleeps four extra people in two bedrooms.

Just 4 minutes away from Kabalana Beach & Ahangama town, our space offers a thoughtfully designed sanctuary designed for a slower, more connected way of living. At Mihira Home, natural materials, minimalist design, large open spaces, earthy colors, and a blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces were brought together to enjoy the natural elements of Sri Lanka.

Welcome to Pavilion Garden House, our pocket-sized piece of paradise on the edge of the jungle near Ahangama. This is the perfect place for couples or solo travellers to relax and unwind, surrounded by wonderful nature, whilst being conveniently located close to the beaches, excellent surf and buzzing atmosphere of Ahangama town. STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

The washing machine and dryer make travelling easy and hiring a scooter from Epic Rides or using Uber or Pick me apps allows easy beach and local historic site access.

Licuala's Tropical House was built guided by the philosophy of simplicity and minimalism, inspired to maximise the use of space. This house sleeps 3 as the large daybed downstairs doubles up as a single bed. This is one of five properties on the estate. Each house is hidden by its own flora and fauna. Our homes were designed to give a sense of privacy and space, bringing you close to nature to rest and be inspired by. Kabalana beach is a 5min walk away.
