Large studio unit attached to our family home in HPP, a rural subdivision in Puna on Hawai‘i Island. 20 min from Hilo Int'l Airport & 40 min from Volcanoes NP. We have 2 large rescue dogs, Jack & Boogie, and a big blind pig, Lilo. They bark/chuff and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs and a blind pig this is not the place for you. We also have many cats, unintentional coqui frogs, and our neighbor has goats. Animal noises are part of this rural space.

The Laughing Gecko

The Laughing Gecko, a 100% smoke-free property, sits on a peaceful acre near cliffs and black sand beaches on Hawaii's east side. The studio offers a private entrance, king bed, kitchenette, bath, and lanai. Amenities include a washer/dryer, coolers, and beach chairs and beach towels. No A/C, as it's rarely needed. Rooster, chickens, and dogs are on-site. The refrigerator does not have a freezer.
