The place is also a residency for artists so don't be surprised if you run into open workshops, art shows or find Icelandic writers working on their next novel during your stay.

Family paradise in the country

A beautiful house in the countryside located just 2km outside of the small town of Ólafsfjörður. Ideal for families to relax and enjoy the nature. In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

Dísa’s house is a historical home in Siglufjörður, built in 1916. It has been stylishly renovated with loving care in 2023 with details of luxury and respect for its aged charm. It is our home away from home to enjoy nature, rest, laugh and eat well. Located in the heart of town with spectacular views over the square, mountains, and harbor. Once the uncrowned capital of fishing, Sigló is now filled with interesting history, herring heritage, and beautiful nature to enjoy sporting activity.

This cozy little cottage is located in Fnjóskadalur only 15 minutes drive from Akureyri. The shortest way is through Vaðlaheiði tunnel. This is the perfect accommodation for people who want to relax in the calm, surrounded by stunning nature. It is also less than hour drive to many of the north eastern nature highlights like Myvatn, Dimmuborgir, Namaskarð, Goðafoss, Myvatn nature baths, Geosea geothermal sea baths and Forrest lagoon. Located at the heart of the Troll peninsula, with beautiful mountain and ocean views. Perfect location for exploration in the Eyjafjordur area, both summer and winter, hiking biking, skiing etc. Ideal for mountain skiers. Daily whale watching tours with Arctic Sea Tours from Dalvik.

Lítið fallegt og fullbúið hús með öllum þægindum. Okkar auka heimili á besta stað á Siglufirði. Vel uppgert og nostrað við hvern hlut. Húsið er á þrem hæðum, tvö herbergi í risi, á miðhæð er stofa, eldhús og wc með sturtu, í kjallara eru tvö svefnherbergi, wc með sturtu, þvottahús og skíða/útifata geymsla. Húsið hefur viðurnefnið Skógarahúsið. Húsið hentar vel 6-8 manns ef tveir sofa saman í tvíbreiðu rúmunum

This cabin is our home away from home, so we except our guests to treat it as such. . It has an amazing sea view if you are lucky you can watch whales from the patio. Hjalteyri is charming town only 20km drive from Akureyri.
