The stunning destinations of Traverse City, Petoskey, and Torch Lake, are also a stones throw away or you can simply choose to sit by campfire light or walk in the 20 acres of woods sitting just outside the backdoor. Nestled firmly in the snow belt, when the leaves are gone and the white stuff starts hitting the ground you will find yourself in the literal definition of a snowmobilers paradise.

Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Close vicinity to many small towns with local bars and restaurants, some are accessible by orv right from the house.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
