Located near the downtown area with close access to many of the Scenic City's local amenities such as the Historic Metropolitan Theatre, Iowa Falls Boat Club (Scenic City Empress) and the Swinging Bridge. Also within short walking distance to the main street shopping district and dining venues.

Our farm is about 6 MI south of Hampton on a working farm. There is mile of gravel to get to our farm that is well maintained. We offer a guest house with 2 bedrooms. One has king bed and the other has a queen bed with single bunk above it. We also upon request provide single mattresses for extra guests. Large bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Complete kitchen. Coffee and bottled water provided. Our place has large outdoor area for lawn games and picnics. Great for family gatherings.

The float to Iowa Falls is through a scenic greenway including limestone bluffs. The spacious lot has room for relaxation & games, including a front porch, backyard patio, and a fire ring near the river. The house has 4 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, open dining room/living room, and laundry facilities.

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

Swinging Bridge Cottage

Overlooking the historic swinging bridge, on the Iowa River, this newly-remodeled guest house features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a furnished kitchen that's open to the living area. The large living room windows look onto the landscaped private backyard and the river. 1898 House

Your group will enjoy this large 2 story home for families, big groups or couples. There is even enough room to park a camper if needed. The large backyard has a winding path through the trees leading to the Ira Nichols wildflower and bird refuge or you can just meander on the path enjoying the birds singing, scampering squirrels, or occasional rabbits.
