The Bothy cottage in the Cotswolds

The Bothy is a conversion of a 17th Century Cotswold stone stable and a 20th Century kennel building. On the ground floor is the living room with a beautiful wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double bedroom and a modern shower room. Whilst upstairs, which is accessed from a narrow oak staircase, you can find the twin bedroom. The living room has been fitted to retain all its original features and is furnished in period style. I have included many Georgian and Victorian pieces and have also included a large settee and two arm chairs, dining table and chairs for 4, corner cupboard and a dash of the 21st Century with a Sky television. The Bothy is beautifully situated in the Postlip Coombe on the leeward side of the Cotswolds highest hill and yet only minutes from Winchcombe, a classic Cotswold "wool" town, renowned for its excellent shops, restaurants and architecture.

Beautiful Cotswold Cottage with stunning views

I have recently renovated my beautiful Cotswold cottage, taking inspiration from rustic French farmhouses and Moroccan riads, and filling it with eclectic old pieces of furniture and art I have picked up on my travels. I grew up in the village and now live half the time there and half the time in London, so I can give lots of tips for places to visit, eat and explore. The cottage can sleep up to 6 people, and is managed by my friend Kate from Stay Country who will liaise with you if you book.

Oakleigh Cottage in the Vale of Evesham

Your countryside home awaits you in the market garden village of Badsey, in the Vale of Evesham. This 270 year old stone cottage was once the servants quarters for Oakleigh House, located centrally in the village on a quiet cul-de-sac. There are two pubs, a village shop & butcher nearby and country walks on the doorstep. Larger towns like Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon & Worcester are within easy reach. More locally is the wonderful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden and the village of Broadway.

Stanton Cotswolds The Hay loft 2 Bed, Cottage

Nestled in the centre of the peaceful and picturesque village of Stanton, in the heart of the Cotswolds, you will find the Hayloft. A charming 17th century converted cotswold stone barn. Penny Cottage is in the heart of the former Saxon town of Winchcombe. It is a traditional Cotswold cottage with a working inglenook fireplace. It is on the Cotswold Way and has access to miles of country walks. Sudeley Castle, the resting place of the only Queen of England to be buried outside a royal palace, is within walking distance. A variety of pubs and restaurants can all be found within a 5 minute walk. The town also boasts a variety of independent shops, and two small supermarkets.
