Our home is located in a quiet cove on Lake Hickory with great water views and a deep water dock with plentiful spaces for relaxation and family time. The cottage has room to sleep 10 with 3 bedrooms and one bonus room with bunk beds. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas can sit up to 10 people for meals and entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessities. Bonus of hot tub, paddle board, floats, gas grill, charcoal grill, fire pit and an outdoor shower (seasonal).

If you’re traveling with livestock and need a layover we are available. If you want a farm/country style get away, The Red Pony is ready for your stay! Lots of scenery. Within 1 hour of blowing rock. This is a functioning barn. There will be animal caretakers in and out throughout the day. However, the barn is overall very peaceful, quiet, and a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Ideal for families, couples, or friends, this space offers the best of lake life adventure and peaceful evenings by the outdoor propane fire pit. This rental comes with one side of the dock. Enjoy the gas fire pit in the cooler months and pool during summer. Our neighborhood is great for taking a morning or evening stroll. We are about an hour from Asheville, Charlotte, or Boone.
