We are 5 minutes from the eastern shore of Lake Superior and stunning sandy beaches, and directly across from Harry McCluskie Marina in Michipicoten River Village. 3 waterfalls are less than 5 minutes away;the largest can be viewed from the house. We are in a dark sky preserve so star gazing can be added to your list of activities; hiking,fishing,swimming, boating,climbing,kayaking or just relaxing on the veranda with your feet up,watching the boats come in or listening to the loons on the bay.

Surrounded by old growth forests, this secluded getaway sits on 4 acres for you to explore. Oh and don't forget to look up! Our guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the spectacular Aurora Borealis. Our Cabin is a 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, screen in porch with hot tub, tv with internet in living room and bedrooms. Wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom has a king size bed that can be split to make 2 twin extra long. The second bedroom can be set up as king bed or 2 twins with trundle bed. The cabin is ground level for accessibility by wheel chair and the bathrooms are wheel chair friendly. Searchmont Resort is 5 km away. Ontario Snow mobile trails go through Searchmont.

More spacious than your average hotel room & a kitchen to cook meals! Located in its own detached building the studio is fully private but the property is shared with me, your host. Perfect for snowmobiling, ice fishing, summer fishing, kayaking, with town less than a minute away. Ideal for solo travelers, couples, or workers. Flexible check-in time.

Little piece of paradise!

Come experience a relaxing getaway with family and friends! You can swim off the dock, great fishing, large yard for outdoor games and bonfires! You will have access to the entire camp, including all kitchen items, canoe, and both indoor and outdoor games. Three kayaks available with life jackets so you can tour the beautiful area. Like many other cottages, our water is lake fed so guests will need to bring bottled water. Fur babies welcome! Ensure they stay in the yard and watched.

Welcome to the Patersons of Huron Shores- located on 80 acres on the banks of the Mississagi River in Iron Bridge ON. Here you can unplug from life and reconnect with nature.This is a place to relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

Diamond Cabin on the Lake

Off grid cozy cabin on Diamond Lake. There is no running water. Outhouse experience. Great for all the camp activities! Enjoy swimming, fishing, stargazing and campfires. Open concept loft bedroom with double and queen beds, queen sized sleeper sofa on main floor. Bedding included. Ladder up to the loft. The camp road is about a 45 minute drive from Sault Ste. Marie and then about 30 minutes drive on backroads to the cabin. We do not provide towels. Propane fridge in Bunkie.

Lakefront Cottage on Echo Lake/Echo Bay

Our family friendly lake front cottage is located 40km east of Sault Ste Marie, the ideal space to escape and relax at. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath with open concept living areas. Enjoy wonderful views of the lake and mountains from the deck. Full access to private waterfront yard with a beachy area, fire pit and dock. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are a must. Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.
