Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.

It is steps away from one of Iowa’s natural trout streams Patterson Creek, the recreational playground of the Upper Iowa River, and over 1,000 acres of wild prairie and woodlands managed by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. The Little Red Schoolhouse is surrounded by natural beauty and can provide a quiet refuge free from all distractions. We are excited for your stay!

Indoor wood burning stove and pool table in entertainment room. Open upper level loft area with 3 queen beds plus 2 bedrooms on main floor. 35 min drive to Prairie Du Chien, Mcgreggor and Marquette. There could also be mud, dust or snow because the Midwest weather is always changing. It is cozy and comfortable in this farmhouse nestled in an oak grove. If you love the outdoors and Iowa, this place is for you! Pets are welcome, maximum of two with pet fee paid at booking.

De Soto Riverview Cabins #5

Cabin 5 is a 2 BR unit, fully furnished with kitchen and bath, featuring 1 queen and 3 twin beds. It comes fully equipped with everything but your food & drinks. A $25 fee per person is added for parties larger than 4. Max occupancy is 6 adults/children. The area offers numerous activities: year round fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobile trails, motorcycle riding, bicycling, wineries, breweries, Amish Bakeries.
