I am about an hour away but can come to the cabin if I'm needed. Nestled among pines, the cabin is set at the base of Mount Meeker. It's a 5-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. A short walk away is a seasonal lodge that’s open from May to September which offers horseback riding and a convenience store. The sofa bed in the living room is a full, the sofa bed in the den is a queen.

The cabin is just south of Grand Lake and extremely easy to access via car, it is a five minute drive to the west gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Reg #3261. Our little red cabin was built in 1915, upgraded in the ‘50s, and enlarged in the ‘70s - acquiring quirky mountain charm over the years. The cabin is on a quiet lot in a residential neighborhood about 1.5 miles south of downtown & Lake Estes. (No A/C. No pets.) With a large bedroom, a full bath, small kitchen, sleeping for 2 additional guests in shared spaces, washer/dryer, & great wildlife viewing, this rustic cabin is perfect for an Estes Park vacation. Cabin near Rocky Mountain National Park

Located 15 minutes from Estes Park Downtown, the cabin is nestled in the archway to the Rocky Mountains. During your stay, enjoy a view of Mount Meeker and partial view of Longs Peak, as well as the relaxing sound of a creek. You will be minutes away from trailheads to waterfalls, bike trails around Lake Estes, and casual shopping and dining in Estes Park. Conveniently, the cabin is located off of Hwy 7, for easy access from the Denver-Boulder area. 4WD/AWD recommended in winter/spring.

NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.
