Pike House Park Place - Your Up North Getaway

Pike House Park Place is a freshly remodeled, three bedroom house with everything you need to enjoy a getaway in Northern Michigan! It is located across from the entrance to Alpena's Long Lake Park, where you can take advantage of some of the best year-round fishing in the state. Fantastic mountain-biking and hiking at Rockport State Rec. area is a few short miles away. Stay right at Park Place and enjoy a bonfire, indoor and outdoor games, a home-cooked meal, and relax in front of the tv.

Lakefront Cabin on Thunder Bay

Relax with the whole family in this cozy log cabin located on the north end of Thunder Bay, just a three mile drive from downtown Alpena. Enjoy your own private beach with a grill, fire pit, and two kayaks you can launch right from our beach. Go fishing from the dock, soak in the hot tub, or just enjoy sitting on the porch watching the boats and ships sailing the lake. The cabin looks out at the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and sits on the Sunrise Coast Birding Trail.

This home is a great place to unwind and relax after enjoying everything our beautiful town of Alpena has to offer. The Greenbean is a cozy 1 bed/ 1 bath home with a lovely three season porch. A perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, while still relaxing in the comfort of the home. Private parking and a patio to enjoy the back yard space. My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

No shooting allowed on property except during deer rifling hunting season.

My place is less than a block from Restaurants, an outdoor Splash Park, and beaches along Lake Huron. Within walking distance is a park with basketball and tennis courts, a bandshell for outdoor concerts in summer and more beach access. If you're looking for a night in, the backyard is private with a firepit and hot tub, or enjoy the game/activity room downstairs.

Beach days and bonfire nights

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Sandy shoreline, kayaking, swimming, grilling and bonfires. Only a 5 mile drive North to Alpena or less than 4 miles to Ossineke and venture to Dinosaur Gardens or Connie's Cafe for breakfast.

Scudder's Up North

Our family home is across the street from Lake Huron and public beaches. It is also walking distance from the beautiful and historic downtown Alpena. We are putting a lot of time and love in to making this a fun and comfortable vacation home.
