Dalehead Barn provides spectacular dual-height accommodation in the heart of the Peak District. The barn is at the head of Biggin Dale (a National Nature Reserve) and at an altitude of almost 1,000 feet. It is surrounded by farmland with panoramic countryside views. A perfect base for walking, cycling and exploring the Peak District countryside, towns/villages and attractions. There is a local village pub and restaurant in easy walking distance with a wealth of other pubs and restaurants nearby.

Local pubs, cafes and shops are excellent, just a short drive away and public footpaths from on site. We have some local walks from site on National Trust land. Away from the hustle and bustle, this peaceful spot has unrivalled far reaching views of the peaks and your own bench outside to enjoy them, or the stars! Gag Barn Nr Thorpe (Peak District/Dovedale)

Gag Barn hosts some spectacular views and scenery and can be accessed by stepping out of the front door. Based in the Peak District National Park, with an abundance of exciting cycle routes and picturesque walks. The barn is spacious, easily sleeping 6, with 2 double bedrooms and 1 set of bunks. Ashbourne (5miles), is known as the"Gateway to Dovedale", and is a delightful market town. Places of interest include, Carsington Water, Alton Towers, Dovedale Stepping Stones and Tissington village.

Delightful converted Stables offering one bedroom accommodation in the beautiful Peak District village of Alstonefield. The cosy living room includes a much admired kitchenette with stairs leading to the galleried bedroom and ensuite shower room. There are numerous scenic walks from the door, with the River Dove 10 mins walk away. Other attractions nearby include Chatsworth House and the Tissington Trail. The village also boasts a Michelin guide restaurant and a regular concert programme.

3 Cottages + Playbarn in the Peak District

Our site has 3 cottages nestled in the Peak District. Hall Farm is on the outskirts of Wetton village which has a pub and tea room. Thor’s cave is 15 minute walk away and the villages of Hartington, Alstonefield and Ilam are all within 10 minutes. We are close to many attractions inc Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife, Dovedale and Chatsworth. Our cottages are well stocked, have 2 bedrooms and sleep between 3-5 people. Our site has a playbarn (Gamesroom), play area, hens, BBQ and large garden.

Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

Elms Barn, Peak District National Park

An individual and characterful large detached stone country house, with an acre of stunning landscaped gardens. Located in the idyllic village of Wetton in the heart of the Peak District National Park. There are walks on your doorstep including Thor's cave, Wetton Mill and Dovedale Nature Reserve close by. We are also close to other attractions such as Alton Towers and Chatworth House. The village has a pub and tearoom. The property is perfect for gatherings of family and friends.
