The Seed Pod, This is a typical farm house located under a well established canopy of giant thorn trees old gnarled lead-wood and has a stunning view of the southern side of the Marakele National Park Mountains. Around the house there are numerous animals such as Nyala, Sable and Impala not to mention all the bird life. We have a caterer available should you wish someone to cook for you on your behalf. Shumba is an "African feel" garden cottage that is ideal for a family. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom(ensuite bathrooms) with a fully equipped kitchen and a small lounge. (It can accommodate 6 people :4 adults and 2 children) Bed Set-up: 2 x Kings OR 1 King + 2 singles OR 4 x singles(bedroom) + 2 x Single sleeper couches in lounge *Only 1 parking bay per unit. We are ideally situated 6km from Pilanesberg National Park and are only a 20km away from Sun City Casino and Entertainment Center.

Rhino Garden Cottage - Shelley's Sleepover

This cozy self-catering cottage, only 6k from Pilanesberg, is ideal for a small family. It has a beautiful view overlooking the swimming pool and the Pilanesberg mountains. The unit has a comfortable king size bed and a large bunk bed. It is equipped with emergency lights, a gas stove and a gas geyser to make your stay more comfortable during load shedding hours. A covered BBQ/braai area outside the cottage is yours to enjoy. Covered and secure parking is provided right next to the cottage.

The cottage is best reached by 4x4 or high clearance vehicle; alternatively arrange for us to fetch you at the gate to take you. Join us and switch off, very limited connectivity only.

Covid 19 response, all our staff are vaccinated and the Tent is completely isolated. There is no contact with any other guests.

At night you light up a fire to set the therapeutic ambiance of the fire dancing into motion. You will not want to leave.

Matopos is a rock & wood cabin in a wild syringa forest located on Grootfontein Private Nature Reserve. Guests can unwind in the wood-fired hot tub while enjoying mountain views or gather around the fire for a braai under the stars. This 2-bedroom unit boasts en-suite bathrooms, an open-plan kitchenette, a dining area, lounge area & braai facilities. OFF THE GRID Our units make use of solar power.
