Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

This fully-remolded A-frame with views of Georgetown Lake provides everything you need for a long weekend or an extended stay. Full kitchen with cooking essentials Wood stove both inside and out Wi-fi and good cell reception Georgetown Lake: 1 mile walk Discovery Ski Basin: 15 minute drive Traffic lights: Um, no Easy to access, quiet location. Can sleep up to six with the fold-out couch, four is very comfortable. RV pad w/ power hookup available in summer; + $15/night. No pets.

Historic 2 Bedroom home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Mount Powell Taphouse, Grant Kohrs Ranch, Grocery Shopping and Downtown. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Cottonwood Creek runs next door and a park across the street with views of Pikes Peak West out the front door.

We have changed our listing to month or longer stays and encourage people to advantage of the good rates this allows. Father Sheehan Park is close for creek side “socially distant” walks. Other changes: living room sofa no longer a bed, 2 twin beds in loft, Solo fire pit, removed play set. Open plan, no door on bedroom. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet within a half-mile of shopping, and one block away from a park and trails along Blacktail Creek. Looking forward to your stay!

Maria's Montana Farm Retreat

Come relax away from it all at our newly constructed guest house on our 20 acre farm. We have several horses on the property. You'll be centrally located to many attractions (3.5 hrs to Glacier NP, 3.5 hrs to Yellowstone NP, 1 hr to Missoula (MSO) or Helena (HLN). Our closest town is Deer Lodge, only 15 minutes away and everything that you could need, and we are 5-10 minutes off the highway. This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath is a warm and comfortable space with breath taking views. A wood pellet stove keeps the chills away while you enjoy all this area has to offer. This is all in the midst of lots of wildlife and don't forget about the neighborhood moose.
