Through the patio entrance is a large game area with ping-pong/pool, a family room with seating for eight and an 80in TV, kitchen with microwave, mini-fridge/separate freezer, Keurig and two-burner cooktop, as well as various tables to seat 14 total. Two bedrooms and a full bath with tile shower are tucked away. The king room has a balcony with a lake view and the queen room has air hockey.

Go fishing, bird watching, use our kayaks to paddle down Beaver Creek, or just sit on the deck or porch and relax. You may see deer, geese, fox, raccoons, herons, ducks, rabbits, beavers, and so many bird varieties! Beautiful cypress trees line the shore. NO HUNTING here! 1 BR, full kitchen, game room. Yet only 10 minutes. from I-40 & close to UT sports. A great weekend getaway!

This is only about 15 minutes from Oak Ridge. We live next door where we raise rabbits and chickens, and several vegetable gardens. It's across the road from the lake, and the picnic area is within walking distance (swimming and fishing, too). Our dogs don't know that this house is not theirs, so will be over daily to get their treats (we'll supply). So you must love dogs, farm animals and vegetable gardens. We're out in the country, so restaurants, gas stations are about a 15 min. drive.

Our 1 bedroom with a king bed and a loft featuring two queen size beds has breathtaking views of Norris Lake. Spend time relaxing on our back porch overlooking the lake with access to a covered dock including a 10x30 boat slip to house your watercraft. This amazing cottage is conveniently located 3 miles off I-75 from the Rocky Top exit.

A Shore Thing - No steps to dock

Recently renovated, A Shore Thing has a gentle, no-steps slope to the main channel shoreline of Cove Creek on Norris Lake. This 2.5-story contemporary lakehouse getaway offers 4 bedrooms (including a huge bunkroom – a favorite with the kids) and 2.5 baths. Game room with ping pong, pool table, and foosball. Lakefront with dock space and two jetski ports. Hot tub and fire pit, gas burning fireplace for fall and winter. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy amazing lakefront views.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
