Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2/3 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Recently renovated, it is a space of delight and comfort for two people within easy reach of Lunan Bay, and has: a super king size bed with a Brooke and Wilde mattress a sitting room with sofa, chairs and a table for working a kitchen made of cat's paw burr elm from the farm a deep bath and close to net zero heating via a wood fired stove which heats radiators and hot water - logs provided Guest information on a link before arrival.

Fabulous local amenities include the golf courses, trout fishing, pubs, cafes, a beachfront play area, skate park and rockpools. We're also on the National Cycle Network. This spacious two-bedroom cottage with a cosy sunroom entrance and private sunny garden is great for golfers or families - and dogs are welcome too. Come and be our guest.

The beamed ceilings, stonewalls and oak floors all add to the character and charm of this 19th century farmhouse. Whilst being a very relaxing and welcoming house for families it is also the perfect location for friends who wish to have a break away. Four legged friends also welcome (2 dogs max) with large front and side garden/lawn **Please note- there is an additional charge of £75 for the wood fired hot tub. It needs to be requested and paid 24 hrs before arrival or it will not be available*
