In close proximity to popular mountain bike/trail running tracks, & minutes walk to the Brook Waimãrama Sanctuary, largest Sanctuary for endangered plants creatures in the South Island, including our native 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐢.

We welcome you to our light and spacious en-suite studio room which has everything but the kitchen sink! Private access through French doors into a courtyard garden where you can enjoy a coffee. You are self contained. Our home offers you a quiet/ comfortable retreat from which to explore all the amazing things our region has. Close to Great Taste Cycle Trail and Saxton Stadium and sports grounds. Central for exploring the whole region. We are a 12 minute (aprox) drive to Nelson City Central.

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

The best of both worlds! A quiet 1/2 acre sanctuary with extensive views out to sea but only a short distance to town. Completely separate lockable access to a generously sized, sunny studio apartment, with undercover parking next to your entrance. A mountain bike park on the back doorstep or a scenic walk into town. The walk back up is steep and requires moderate fitness. Otherwise sit back and drink in the view or wander in the garden. Breakfast of home made muesli/yoghurt and toast.

Relax in this tranquil getaway. The cabin is a cosy hideaway with armchairs, dining, fridge and microwave. Up the ladder is a mezzanine for sleeping. The second cabin contains the shower and toilet. It spills out onto a landscaped garden with a tree-lined patio looking over Fifeshire Rock and ranges. It's one of the most beautiful spots in Nelson. Steep climb from the road, up steps and boardwalks. We suggest a pack, not a suitcase.
