Industrial Cosy Cottage, Gateway to the Lakes

A cosy industrial-inspired cottage on the edge of the Lake District National Park, nestled in the picturesque Eden Valley. Designed for comfort and convenience, our space features a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Starlink WiFi, an EV charge point, and luxurious Simba memory foam beds. Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. We are not suitable for loud parties or celebrations.

The Rookery

This 400 year old coach house was built around the turn of the 1600's. It has quirky uneven walls, beams made from sailing ships that travelled the world, and a pretty courtyard garden. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with mini fridge, microwave kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things and a large container for you to leave your dishes out for me. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture because I find the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

Dunkeld Cottage - close to the Lake District!

Dunkeld Cottage is a detached cottage within easy reach of the Lake District. Situated in a tranquil village location with lots of amazing attractions within a short drive, as well as some lovely walks from the door. Spacious and welcoming kitchen/breakfast room with full appliances. Large, cosy living/dining room, two double bedrooms (can be king/king or king/twin) and a bathroom with bath and shower over. Fully enclosed and private garden. Ideal for touring the Lake District and Pennines!

18th Century Country Cottage on a working farm

The Old Smithy was the original farm house built in the 18th Century. Completely renovated from derelict in 2002 and freshly redecorated in 2021, it boasts many of its original features; including the old fire range which will keep you warm on those winter nights (an initial basket of logs is F.O.C.) Downstairs, sandstone flag floors and oak beamed ceilings are throughout. A biomass boiler heats the cottage with timber sourced from the farm. Includes laundry, towels, heating and electricity.

Sycamore Barn is a self-catering retreat near Shap with sweeping views across the Eden Valley, just seven miles from the Lake District National Park. Perfect for walkers, couples, friends and families seeking peaceful, unspoilt Cumbria with countryside adventures nearby. Spend your days exploring fells, lakes or charming villages, then return to pour a glass of wine, light the fire, play Monopoly, cosy up with a book or simply relax as calm, golden evenings stretch long into the night.

Appleby barn conversion +hottub, Murton, Cumbria

Mini Murton House is a converted dog friendly barn situated in the peaceful village of Murton. There is a Finnish wood burning hot tub on your own private south facing patio. The barn retains many original features, with exposed beams and large barn door. Cosy wood burning stove, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine level). We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible: The Mini Murton House toilet has been twinned, we have 4 recycling bins and a composter.

The Cushion Cottage is situated right next door to the Crown and Cushion a super pub and tea room serving food all day from 8am (ideal for breakfast) in the centre of Appleby in Westmorland , the Lounge, Diner and fully fitted Kitchen along with the family bathroom with bath and separate shower are situated on the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms downstairs one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both have their own TV, Complementary Wi-Fi is available.
