Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. The Barn is 18th Century and recently converted. It has 1 bedroom with a Super king zip and link bed which can also be made up as a twin if requested. The cottage, a converted stable, is based on a working farm with private parking and a garden with seating enjoying spectacular views of the Eden Valley. 18th Century Country Cottage on a working farm

The Old Smithy was the original farm house built in the 18th Century. Completely renovated from derelict in 2002 and freshly redecorated in 2021, it boasts many of its original features; including the old fire range which will keep you warm on those winter nights (an initial basket of logs is F.O.C.) Downstairs, sandstone flag floors and oak beamed ceilings are throughout. A biomass boiler heats the cottage with timber sourced from the farm. Includes laundry, towels, heating and electricity.

Mini Murton House is a converted dog friendly barn situated in the peaceful village of Murton. There is a Finnish wood burning hot tub on your own private south facing patio. The barn retains many original features, with exposed beams and large barn door. Cosy wood burning stove, fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 mezzanine level). We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible: The Mini Murton House toilet has been twinned, we have 4 recycling bins and a composter.

Come and experience our little bit of Eden. Our fully insulated Log cabin is situated within our private woodland with its own entrance and approx 1 acre of fenced woodland, about 5 miles west of Appleby. The Lodge is on our 50 acre smallholding so although it is on its own it is not isolated and is within 200m of our farmhouse. Well placed for walking or exploring the quiet Eden Valley, and the Pennines, The Lakes and The Yorkshire Dales are within 30 mins drive.
