This working 200acre Black Angus cow farm is located 15 minutes from historic Appomattox and 30 minutes from Lynchburg and Liberty Univ in a quiet, peaceful rural setting. The entire house is yours while the farm owner lives in the separate basement apartment. Observe farm activities, ie, moving the grass-fed cows from pasture to pasture, see some long horns nearby, or just kick back and relax on one of the property's ponds or creek!

The Loft @Venue1848

The Loft has one bedroom with one queen size bed for 2 guests. If your 2nd guest needs an extra bed, you can add a king size blowup mattress OR a twin mattresses for $25 per night. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Gameroom with PS4, full size pool table and family friendly board games is sure to keep everyone entertained. Large back deck with hot tub and outdoor shower overlooking Wreck Island Creek for relaxing. Outdoor grill and firepit for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories about this historic county of Appomattox. Field of Dreams Creekside Camping

This is a quiet, serene spot where you will not be disturbed. We have a fire pit and tent camping right beside the creek. There is plenty of room for two tents and some hammocks. Our property is 13 acres (which you are welcome to explore) and behind our property is a field with cattle. We are only a 5 minute drive from the James River and area to launch kayaks/canoes. Great hiking is nearby and downtown Lynchburg is only 15 minutes away. Liberty University is 12 minutes away.

Calm Retreat/Sleek and Serene Studio

Everything is beautiful in this cute and comfortable apartment. A perfect couple’s retreat. Centrally located, it takes only about 15 minutes to get to Lynchburg Virginia (home of Liberty University, Randolph College and Lynchburg University), as well as Appomattox or Rustburg. Please note, this is a basement studio, it has a separate entrance, and is very private, and depending on who is staying upstairs, you made her a little bit of noise! Hope your stay is great!

Come stay at Arlene's Escape on Piney Mountain Preserve! Beautiful natural setting, trails, stocked pond, gorgeous views. Privacy at its finest, yet close to all you need. Large wrap around deck, gas or propane grill, large outdoor fire space. Trout fishing (October to May) must ask for harvest. House fully stocked with all that's needed. Fiber internet and large new hot tub. Over 4 miles of walking trails. Great for families or couples.
