The Carriage House is a new addition in 2005 and offers a separte living quarters from the main BNB. Great for families and pet friendly! Everything is beautiful in this cute and comfortable apartment. A perfect couple’s retreat. Centrally located, it takes only about 15 minutes to get to Lynchburg Virginia (home of Liberty University, Randolph College and Lynchburg University), as well as Appomattox or Rustburg. Please note, this is a basement studio, it has a separate entrance, and is very private, and depending on who is staying upstairs, you made her a little bit of noise! Hope your stay is great!

Located on the James River in Amherst County this unique underground, riverfront home on 125 acres of farm land, features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room and laundry room. River access for all guests. Frequent wildlife sightings include deer, bear, turkey, beavers and eagles. Come enjoy the river, watching trains pass by and taking in all that nature has to offer.

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.
