Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

‘Haus House’ Studio close to the Lake

‘Haus House’ Studio is a 440 sq ft standing alone bungalow in a very quiet location yet close to all lake activity and great places to eat. The studio has a queen bed, wardrobe, living area, tv and WiFi. It has a kitchenette with a dining table for 2, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a nice marble shower. There is an outdoor seating area for down time and relax. While we live on the property, you have your own privacy, but if you need us we are close by.

Relax on the front or back porch with a views of the ranch or if you prefer a more active stay, schedule a Jones Road Ranch tour, hike or bike in the local National Forest or tour the Bush Presidential Library in nearby College Station.

Come getaway in the country! House is surrounded by acreage and has a large area surrounding the house for your fur baby/ies. There is a stock pond in front of the house which is open for your fishing pleasure (Blue Catfish and Crappie). There is a large porch up front, perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset and spending time slowing the pace of life. Minutes from downtown and close to local attractions. Wifi (hot spot) and Roku have recently been added due to popular demand.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. Located just a short distance from the Huntsville square this prime location makes for easy travel for any occasion that brings you to town.

Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.
