Welcome to Makahawani!, the hidden house with 3 separate private rooms located on the slopes of Mt. Meru and surrounded by the coffee and banana farms. The area is always very quiet, safe, greener environment with a very scenic view of the mountain and unstoppable sound of the river flowing. It's suitable for both Tourists, Volunteers, Travelers and Locals. Makahawani is a Swahili word/name which means ''in the middle of coffee farm". You can also experience local swimming style in the river.

Our very well-kept and lovingly furnished accommodation is located only 1 km from the center of Arusha. Although so centrally located, the property is a quiet, green oasis full of plants. Depending on the season, you can freely help yourself to avocados, lemons or other fruits. The green and peaceful garden is populated by a variety of birds and small animals such as squirrels and hedgehogs.
