We are a New York-based husband and wife who want to give back to the Nnewi community where Tochukwu hails from. When we were building our own home in Nnewi, we found it difficult to bring the entire family to Nnewi because we could not find accommodations that could provide us with all the comforts of a private home. So, we decided to create one and the idea of the Moonshine Residence was born! Named after The Moonshine, a hotel owned by Tochukwu’s father in Onitsha when he was growing up.
