Close to the market towns of Tenterden and Rye. The coast is 15 minutes drive. Historic castles etc close by. Many public footpaths and the Saxon Way. Beautiful coastal area, popular with cyclists and wine lovers . Ashford Intl Train station is 20 mins for London etc. Private parking. Pets welcome.

If you are looking for some vintage charm by the sea and you love the sound of seagulls, Gull Cottage set over 3 floors is the one for you. It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. Forming part of an original 18th Century Stable located in the heart of the historic medieval town of Sandwich you will find this hidden away open plan 1st floor conversion which has been renovated to high standard creating a light & airy living space in the eaves of the stable & barn section. The property has its own entrance via a wooden external staircase to the side leading to 1st floor. There is a court yard, we do not have parking on site for guests but there is a car park 2 mins walk

You certainly won’t forget your time in this intimate Garden Room sunken into the grounds of our garden with stunning views of our paddock/ old orchard and surrounding countryside of the beautiful village of Hernhill. We have great sunsets in this area which you can watch from the Garden room.

Fantastic views of the countyside and river, log burner, central heating, she is set up for use all year around - magical!
