This small charming cottage is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Glendale Springs. It’s close enough to ‘do all the things,’ but you’ll feel totally secluded at The Happy Place. A fun mural waits for your selfies! Near Hiking, tubing, kayaking, and waterfalls. West Jefferson is within 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the large fire pit or play games at the picnic table (we have a drawer full!). Want to bring friends? They can reserve the other tiny house on the property! Ask me about it!

The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch, outdoor tub, shower, electric fireplace, patio, picnic table, fire ring, and outhouse with composting toilet. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. The outdoor shower/tub is NOT fully enclosed or private, and may be turned off in a freeze. Nature lovers only!

HURRICANE NOTE: We have power, water, hot water, wifi and cool mountain air. Our road is fine and businesses in the area are opening back up and wishing visitors to return. Tiny home cabin, set in a grove of trees yet minutes to downtown Boone. Intimate two-person hot tub. Propane fireplace, two mini-split ac/heaters, two tv's fully loaded, full size fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, loft with queen bed. Covered porch with grill and hot tub, fire pit out back.

Our space, a custom build from HGTV-featured tiny house builder Randy Jones, is on a ridge with unparalleled, 270-degree views of Grandfather Mountain, all three area ski resorts, on into Tennessee and Virginia's Mount Rogers. We're located 20 minutes from Boone and 15 to West Jefferson, and even closer to the Blue Ridge Parkway and New River activities like fishing and tubing. If you've considered downsizing, or you just want to give living tiny a try for a getaway, this is the place!

Cottage is situated overlooking gentle pastures and long range mountain views. A perfect front porch setting for those North Carolina Mountain sunsets offering a peaceful relaxing experience. The surrounding wildlife, forested area, hiking trails, and bold streams make this an adventurous getaway for the whole family. The Blue Ridge Parkway and New River are minutes away for fishing, biking and river fun. Boone, Jefferson, Appalachian State University are less then 12 miles near.

"Hidden Gem" is a cedar tiny home with "Amazing " Mountain views. The views are mesmerizing! The cabin is well appointed to make your stay comfortable & memorable. The Cabin consists of a lounge area, kitchen, bathroom, queen bedroom, loft (bed), screened porch, & deck. The large deck or screened porch is the perfect place to watch a sunrise or sunset while sipping coffee or a glass of wine. The cabin is best suited for a couple- 1 dog allowed with a $75 fee added.

Have it both ways with the Tiny Cabin-a retreat in nature AND a 5 minute walk to historic downtown Todd or 15 to 20 minutes to downtown Boone and W.Jefferson. Enjoy the well appointed Tiny Cabin and the PRIVATE 500sq ft screened in lounge, with private access to a hot tub, fire table , dining nook, and yoga/workout area. Cook meals in the cabin's full kitchen or outdoor grilling area. Relax and refresh while experiencing the joy of tiny cabin living!

Our private tiny glamping cabin with loft, outdoor shower, port a John, covered patio with grill and fire pit is located on 40 acres in the middle of a National Park just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Down the road you can enjoy rafting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, frescoes, paragliding, skiing and waterfalls. Additional camping and other tiny house options are also available on the property. Full bath available nearby at the main cabin
