The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. 12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Self catering luxury glamping pod . A cosy private space nestled by the side of our cottage. It has a kitchenette with; Microwave Mini fridge & ice box Kettle Toaster Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Ensuite shower Double bed and a sofa. TV plays DVDs only , with a good selection of DVDs. There is no cooker in the pod but there is a Gas Plancha (Hot Plate) and a single gas ring situated in an outside cooking station next to the pod. WIFI
