College Hill Cottage is located on College Hill, on the scenic, historic site of Weethee Academy in the heart of the Appalachian region of Ohio. Just 15 miles from Athens, Ohio, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private, spacious yard relaxing on the large front deck, or the side porch. Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. Close proximity to Ohio University, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, and Burr Oak State Parks, and Wayne National Forest.

Bear Creek Cabin

Come stay at Bear Creek cabin & take advantage of all the things to do in historic Nelsonville. Our cozy place is located in the perfect location just a few minutes outside of city limits & having Wayne National Forrest right behind our backyard. Sit out on the balcony to relax, grill out or soak in the brand new hot tub! Take a pedal down on the bike path located less than 5 minutes from the cabin. Float down the Hocking River. Take a scenic train ride! So many things to do near Bear Creek!

The Cottage on Blueberry Hill

NEW! High speed internet and new smart TV! 5 person hot tub in the summer house building next to the cottage. Originally a Lodge for a Boy Scout Camp in the 1930s, the Cottage is a wonderful destination for those seeking a quiet country retreat. Located near Stockport, there is direct access to the Muskingum River via a short walking trail. Fishing (license required) is permitted at one of the best spots on the River. There are over 2 miles of maintained hiking trails on the property.

One of two neighboring cottages, it’s thoughtfully set apart to offer peace, privacy, and a true escape into nature. Enjoy your own fenced yard, a private hot tub, grill, and patio—perfect for relaxing with pets or little ones. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning mist or stargazing at night, The Sugar Maple offers room to roam and space to breathe.

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. Nothing but stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

Athens County is rich in beauty, opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, local artisans and entrepreneurs, amazing food and beverages, and home to Ohio University. Although we are only 15 mins from Uptown Athens, we provide a great escape from the hustle and bustle of our small city, nestled in the woods.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

This two bedroom cabin is located within minutes of Burr Oak State Park in the heart of the Ohio Outback. Hunting on thousands of acres of public land. This cozy cabin is close to many attractions such as , Wolf Creek, Muskingum River, AEP Recreation lands, Ohio Valley Opry, bike trails and fishing . Take a scenic drive on route 78 also known as Rim Of The World. If you want to take a nature hike there are many trails in the area including the Buckeye Trail.
