The one-bedroom apartment in the basement of our house can host up to 4 people and features a walkout with a hot tub and a porch swing. The apartment has a queen bed, pull out couch, kitchen, closet, bathroom, and desk. We live in rural, Appalachian Ohio on 20 acres. We have fields, woods and a pond for exploring. Walk over to hometown bar and restaurant Summerfield’s! This is a unique and spacious studio apartment with everything you need. Large living area, full kitchen, bathroom, and washer/dryer. About 14 mins (11 mi) to Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg & 8.9 mi to MMH-Belpre. Just a few minutes from Washington Works Plant (Dupont). About 30 mins to Marietta. Located on quiet dead end street. The unit is located above the garage, attached to the main house where the owner and kids live. I promise that you will have a clean, nice place to stay!

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Located on Richland Ave, this small one bedroom is less than a half mile to OU’s Convocation center & 1 mile to uptown Athens. Freshly remodeled, everything new, and sits right above Purple Chopstix—one of Athens Best local restaurants (closes early, noise is not a problem!) Attentive owners. Great place for a couple, visiting professionals, or just a solo getaway to this beautiful town.
