We're tucked away just a few kilometres outside of Murray River, a charming fishing village offering a variety of places to eat & views to discover. We recommend having a car while visiting Prince Edward Island. There is limited public transport available in Eastern PEI.

The Woodland Hive and Forest Spa

The Woodland Hive is a four-season geodesic glamping dome and outdoor Nordic spa located in a private getaway surrounded by forest on a hobby farm and apiary. The space has an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue, chiminea and yard. Included is a forest spa experience. Soak all of your stress away in the cedar hot tub and relax in the cedar wood-fired sauna. It’s a perfect escape outside of the city, but still close to several attractions along the Fundy coast. Inspired by Mother Goose, or the figures one holds dear. A place for her to rest after a long fairy tale journey. Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

The Beach House (private hot tub and sauna)

We would like to share this piece of our paradise with you, located on a peaceful, crystal clear lake. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.
