Experience the laid back, friendly lifestyle of Thorntown, IN while having access to Indianapolis and Lafayette! Take a walk or bike the ten-mile heritage trail. Walk to Stookey’s for drinks and food! More restaurants and bars are a ten minute drive. Sugar Creek Art Gallery next door. Downtown Indy, Children’s Museum, and Indpls Motor Speedway are each 35-40 minutes. Purdue University is 28 miles. A percentage of reservation fees are donated toward housing for refugees, evacuees, and homeless.

Pasel House Built in 1892

Stay in a picturesque Victorian farm house sitting on three rolling acres in the middle of nowhere, but only a 3 minute drive from the nearest Walmart and other amenities. Mature hardwood trees in the yard and a house built in 1892 with much of its original woodwork intact. Enjoy a night sky mostly unpolluted by urban lights and a comfortable stay in 3 air conditioned bedrooms. There is always a camp fire built and a place for social gathering in the back yard. Come enjoy a piece of history.

Wren House in the Woods

This is a lovely private guest house in the woods along a stream Main bedroom has queen bed. Loft has 2 twins. Full private bath with large step in shower. The lighted screened porch and open deck sit above the west creek near the banks of the Middlefork River -- enjoy nature at its midwestern best. This home is surrounded by oaks, maples, and walnut trees, so the birds are all around, along with other wildlife. Down the hill is the Middlefork, designated as a "National Scenic River".

Perfect for families visiting the area or football/basketball fans. As a host who lives in the community, I am committed to using eco-friendly cleaning products that have no added PFAs. I maintain a natural lawn and yard without using harsh pesticides/herbicides, which means the grass isn't always weed-free, but is safe for pets and children.

Convient location just 4 miles from center of Purdue Campus, and right off a main road on the edge of town. If your looking for a unique historic property this is your home. Originally built in 1890 as a school house. Revamped into a cozy 1 bedroom + loft bedroom. Original bones with a touch of modern living. Large outdoor space with a firepit area. Property sits next door to a historic small cemetary. House is backed up to a wooded area with active train track.

Step back in time…our homestead with all the modern conveniences. We have several nearby wedding barns (if you are attending one). We are 30 minutes away from downtown Indy, 26 miles from IMS Track...Brownsburg’s, Lucas Oil Raceway 18 miles. Turkey Run State Park is 34 miles. We enjoy meeting new people, making their vacation completely enjoyable. After 11/24/ 2019 Swim spa with deck...instead of a hot tub. Entire beautiful home.

Quaint Craftsman Home Near Purdue

Come visit Historic Lafayette and stay in this warm and inviting home! This charming 110 year old bungalow has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a tranquil sanctuary on the 3rd floor which provides a pull out couch for additional sleep space. This home is fully furnished with a well stocked kitchen! It’s a quick walk downtown or a short drive to Purdue University's campus. There are multiple areas for outdoor gathering as well.
