Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

'The Barn' Waiheke

The Barn is a fantastic bespoke renovated property with exceptional sea & rural views . A large open plan space with something to entertain old and young alike, whether it be table tennis, foozeball, darts? Relaxing on beanbags out on the deck? Maybe watching a movie on the 50” Smart TV You can enjoy the Barrel sauna (shared space) with outdoor shower, or the cabana (shared space) with an extra large outside double bath. Perfect for friends, couples or families.

The Onion Shed - comfortable and convenient.

In a previous life this B&B was a shed for sorting & drying onions. This old onion shed has been fully renovated into a beautiful, relaxing studio for two. From your room you have unspoilt rural views of the market gardens. There is a 100yr old oak tree in front of your cottage where you can relax. We offer a continental breakfast which includes toast and cereal with homemade jams and fresh fruit from the orchards.

The Barn

The Barn is a private little hide away set in the Waitakere Rangers. Uniquely decorated with open rooms and living great for family and friends. You are surrounded by native birds of every kind. At night all you can hear is the Morepork and during the day only birds and bees. Plenty of room to move around inside and out. **We do not allow the venue to be booked for parties or events.**

"The Stables" is only 10 min from Muriwai Beach where you can visit the Gannet colony, walk on the black sand or surf the Westcoast. Kumeu district is home to 8 wineries, beautiful Riverhead and Woodhill forest. Come and unwind in our farm-like rural setting, away from busy city life.

Woolshed bunkhouse - sleeps 12

Experience rustic charm at our converted woolshed bunkhouse, offering simple accommodation for up to 12 guests, all just 3kms from Waikawau boat ramp. Ideal for fishing groups, with ample parking for boats and cars, plus a fish filleting and boat washing facility. Please note that linen is NOT supplied. $50/person +GST - minimum of 2 people per night.
