One block away is Salisbury Reserve with kiddies playground. My place is good for couples, business travellers, and families.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Grey Lynn/Ponsonby: Stunning more than just a room

You'll love our location, it is quite unique. In a prior life it was a mechanics workshop which we have repurposed into a delightful home. BTW - Once you book, you will have the wing to yourselves, even it's just you. Relax in the covered terrace with a cuppa in the morning and unwind with a beer or wine in the evening before hitting the many fine restaurants and eateries in the area. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
