Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 On Historic Property

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

Hanaby Hideaway - a special place to unwind.

This place is pretty special! A lovingly restored school bus now spends its time nestled amongst gum trees. You'll soak up the warmth of the morning sun, whilst listening to the bird life, and watching sheep, cows and kangaroos in neighbouring paddocks. The privacy and tranquility will allow you make yourselves at home. Whether you’re reading in a hammock, drinking wine watching the sunset, soaking in a spa, playing boardgames, or cooking on the Weber. Not suitable for children or pets.

The Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is set amongst a beautiful bush setting, close to the stunning Bay of Fires beaches, and only 2.5km from the Binalong Bay township, and 8km from St Helens. The Bush Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen ready for guests to use at their leisure, or for those who would prefer to take a more relaxed option, we have our Platter Bar and pre-prepared meals made by our in-house chefs, as well as our Bush Retreat Breakfast $25pp that can be pre-booked prior to arrival.

Huntingdon Tier Forest Retreat – atop a mountain in Tasmania's Southern Midlands. This luxurious, private & unimposing eco retreat is a place to escape, relax & reconnect. Soak in the woodfired hot tub & lounge by a warm fire or from your comfy bed, gaze through the treetops to the mountains beyond & observe local wildlife. Take a wander & enjoy a natural meditation cave just 30 metres below. Single night stays are welcomed, however guests often say they wish they had've stayed longer!

Close to numerous cellar doors, breweries and restaurants. A stunning space to relax and enjoy the incredible view after a days winetasting or adventures on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula.

We have up-cycled, second hand materials, handmade items, sourced local products and have aimed to be conscious in our purchases to create a unique home. Much thought and creativity has gone into the custom made furniture and design layout. This unique bush retreat is the perfect hide away. Experience bus home living.

The Van in the Bush

Located on the foot of Mt. Cassell, part of the Grampians Range, within 20 acres of bushland. Only a 10 minute drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park trails. Perfect for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat.m with a friend. Unwind, switch off, and enjoy the quiet. From April to November you can enjoy the firepit, and if you’re lucky you may spot the 3 ponies and a donkey who roam the property freely.

Nambucca Valley Train Carriages Red carriage

Both our red & green carriages are modeled from the balcony ended tram car Built by Great Eastern Railways, England in 1884. The tram car was built for the Wisebec to Upwell line. Diane & I have built this unique accommodation from the ground up overlooking the NSW North Coast Railway line. The two carriages are located 90 metres from our house & sited to provide you with your own privacy.
