Our repurposed Redhen railcar sits amidst the vines with elevated views over Blewitt Springs; a beautiful corner of the McLaren Vale wine region. Each space (driver's cabin & three-five-four) offers well appointed kitchens, queen beds, spectacular views from your own deck or choose to stay cozy inside. Close to numerous cellar doors, breweries and restaurants. A stunning space to relax and enjoy the incredible view after a days winetasting or adventures on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula.

Lovely Converted Train Carriage/ Garden Studio

Lovely rustic train carriage, built in 1914 and since converted into cosy and comfortable accomodation. The carriage accommodates one or two guests, with a queen size bed. Self sufficient, the carriage has a bathroom, microwave and small fridge. A private space, the carriage is nestled at the back of the property amongst the trees and garden. You will have direct access, with parking in the carport at the end of the driveway. Ballan train station is a 7 minute walk from the property.

Stay in Carriage 421, a 1915 South Australian railway treasure converted into a private retreat at Figbrook Farm. Nestled in gardens and orchards, it features polished timber floors, a queen bed, kitchen, bathroom and cosy living space. Enjoy WiFi, mobile service, laundered linen, fresh eggs, and seasonal produce. In fig season, pick your own fruit and herbs. Nambucca Valley Train Carriages Red carriage

Both our red & green carriages are modeled from the balcony ended tram car Built by Great Eastern Railways, England in 1884. The tram car was built for the Wisebec to Upwell line. Diane & I have built this unique accommodation from the ground up overlooking the NSW North Coast Railway line. The two carriages are located 90 metres from our house & sited to provide you with your own privacy.
