Boat of Garten is a beautiful village situated in the Spey Valley. It is an ideal base for many sporting and nature activities in summer and winter. There is even a steam train that runs past the bottom of the garden. The village has a grocery store, cafe, hotel and a restaurant. Our bungalow has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a well equipped kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a beautiful view. We also have a utility room which is great for drying wet gear and storing wellies!

Using the local orbital pathway, it is approximately, a 20min walk to the main street. Meikle House is 3 miles north of Aviemore. It is a detached house sleeping up to 9 people in 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, walk in wardrobe and a superb Austrian style balcony with mountain views. There are 3 further bedrooms upstairs and a double bedroom downstairs. On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge with a log burning stove and a large kitchen/dining area. There is also a bathroom with shower downstairs and a utility room with washing machine.
