Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Recently renovated, detached stable and cart lodge, in the centre of one of Suffolk's finest villages. 400 yards from two excellent pubs and a village shop. Entrance hall, spacious double bedroom, bathroom with shower and bath, reception room (including kitchenette and wood burning stove). Wifi, Smart TVs in bedroom and reception room. Sonos speakers throughout. Off street parking for one car. Great location for cycling, golf, walking and exploring. 12 minutes drive from Colchester station.

Garden annexe-early check-in available

Our home is about 20 mins walk to town. There is an Indian restaurant & convenience shop across the road, Turkish restaurant, Chinese takeout & riverside restaurant within 10 mins. Take a lovely walk through Sudbury water meadows in to town. The annexe with outside decking is situated at the rear of our garden with access via stairs to a parking space(apologies but guests without satisfactory reviews will not be accepted) Sorry, no pets as we have a friendly cat and 2 dogs roaming the garden

This is a perfectly cosy, self contained detached space in the county of Suffolk. It is a two mile distance from Ipswich train station and a few minutes stroll to parks and local amenities. There are lovely walks and cycle rides to surrounding villages and historic market towns like Colchester, Hadleigh, Kersey Lavenham and Woodbridge.
