Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. 5 min walk to Kilt Rock and a patio with spectacular views of the mountains. 10 mins drive to the Storr or the Quiraing for walking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. You won't forget this trip any time soon! The hut is well insulated for Winter, fully equipped and is decorated with photographs by the owner, a professional landscape photographer. Chalet Coll

Sleeps up to 4 Either - [3 adults as a family] or [2 adults + 2 children] or [Max 2 business/contractor people] This is a compact but well planned, cosy and a very clean chalet, nice and warm in the coldest of winters and is also very comfortable in the hot summer months. Situated on a small croft in the village of Outend Coll, close to our Coll and Gress sandy beaches plus only 6 miles from our main town Stornoway. A great place to stay and have easy access to explore the rest of the Island/s.

6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Mackay House, Isle of Lewis

MacKay House is situated 7 miles from Stornoway on the east coast of the Island in the village of Coll. While enjoying the rural location it is only a 15 minute drive to the town centre which has shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The house, a former crofting house, has recently been refurbished to a high standard to cater for the modern day visitor to this scenic and stunning island. There are beaches from as little as a 10 minute walk from the house. Ample off street car parking.

There are 2 beaches within walking distance of the property, Gress Beach (25 mins) or Coll Beach (20 mins) be sure to put them on “your must” visit list.
