Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. This cabin-trailer (separate and 300 feet from the main house) is located in Alta Sierra. This cozy cabin-trailer is just 20 minutes from the charming town of Kernville and Lake Isabella, where you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, hot springs, hiking trails, the Kern River, fishing, rafting, and much more. The seasonal Alta Sierra Ski Resort is only 15 minutes away. Our backyard trail provides direct access to the Sequoia National Forest and 4 minutes away from Greenhorn Mountain Park.

The house with the best views in all of Tehachapi! Come visit this amazing cabin in Stallion Springs. Only 20 minutes to downtown Tehachapi and not too high up in elevation, this 'one of a kind' home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a large loft area with a futon and plenty of space for yoga, reading, or relaxing. The deck sits right on the edge of a cliff (but don't worry, there is a fence) where you can enjoy the peaceful area and all the amazing wildlife! Over an acre of flat fenced in area.

Alta Sierra Charmer

Rustic and cozy 1920s vintage time capsule cabin with mid century furnishings and original kitchen and appliances. Pet friendly! Unplug for a few days with NO WIFI/Internet. If you need these amenities, another place would be better. Hiking from your doorstep, Lake Isabella 10 minute drive down the hill, with boating, swimming, and fishing, and just a few miles up the road to Kernville, with white water rafting, fly fishing, and great restaurants alongs the Kern river. Peace and quiet!

Soak up the history of Kernville Ranch in the all natural cedar hot tub after a day on the river, watch the horses frolic in front of pink and purple mountains. Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

TWO GUESTS ONLY , NO PARTIES, NO PETS! Comfy king bed, lovely outdoor bathtub. NO WIFI. Only 1 bar cell svs-plus record player/TV/videos/books/games. Heavy snow possible!
