We’d love for your happy beach memories to be made here at our cottage by the sea, The Whimsy Whale. Our island cottage is perfectly placed under a canopy of magnificent live oaks, about 300 steps away from the ocean. Nestled on a quiet beach access street, central to all the best attractions, shopping and eateries on Oak Island; close to attractions in Southport. It is one of our favorite places to spend time together and we look forward to sharing it with you, your loved ones and friends.

The Beach House on Snapper

THE BEACH HOUSE on SNAPPER is located on the beautiful, quiet end of the island! The House has 2 bikes to enjoy the family friendly streets, outdoor shower, beach towels, a cart with 2 beach chairs, and an EZ tent for shade/self tap umbrella! There’s a Guidebook on the Airbnb site for great restaurants nearby, coffee at beach. The Tiki Bar/Ocean Grill is a short walk along the beach for sunsets, evening cocktails, and eats out on the pier! So much to experience and explore, Come, be our guest!

Fox In The Sand was renovated completely March 2022! Our home is located in the family friendly dog friendly coastal community of Oak Island, NC. LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF OAK ISLAND Dr. NO MAJOR Road TO CROSS. Crossing the G.V. Barbee Bridge which is the closest to our home, a nostalgic feeling comes over you! This timeless town has attracted families year after year since the early 19th century. Our 10 miles of beach will always be our main attraction perfect for every outdoor activity

Enjoy a perfect oceanfront family getaway on Oak Island's West Beach. This 1st level unit of our beach house has separate entrance, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and sleeps six guests. This custom LUXURIOUS 1-bedroom oceanfront sleeps 4 w/pull-out couch and is completely NEW inside. This unit is oceanfront, 2nd story w/elevator, covered parking in a gated parking lot, and a fully stocked kitchen, park the car & never have to drive during your stay! Right on the CB boardwalk w/ many choices for ocean view restaurants, etc. Pet friendly with an additional $60 cleaning fee per pet and early check-in and late check-out fee $150 for each request w/ 2-day notice.

The House of Kai, 1 Block From The Beach

The House of Kai is a 1950's beach cottage that features a surf shack charm with a modern edge. The main bedroom has a private deck that includes an oversized tub and shower with access to the large wrap around front porch. We are located on the north end of Carolina Beach which is known for it's laid back vibe. Although very private, please note that the driveway and backyard are a shared space w/our other rentals at the back of the property.
