A Highland Haven in Ardnamurchan

Perched above the village of Kilchoan, the most westerly village on mainland Britain, Torr Solais Cottage offers a modern, light filled retreat with sweeping views of sea and mountain. This beautifully appointed self catering home sleeps 4 in 2 comfortable bedrooms (1 king bedroom, 1 twin bedroom) 2 bathrooms , 1 with walk in shower. An open plan living space with wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen. Step out onto the spacious decked balcony to soak up the dramatic Ardnamurchan landscape.

Renovated traditional croft house

Well equipped family house in great location directly across the road from the track to the beautiful Soroby (or Balinoe) beach. Stunning views of the beach from the first floor. Family room with king size bed and single bed, double room, bunk room and small single room with a continental size single bed - full length but 2' 6" in width ideally suited to a child. The house sleeps eight but in order to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests we state a maximum of six adults plus two children.

The Wing, Achnadrish House

The Wing of Achnadrish house, built in the 17th century as a shooting lodge, is attached to the Western side of the house, and although modernised, it retains a historical charm. The 3 upstairs bedrooms have a cottagey feel, whereas the downstairs is a little grander, with high ceilings and larger rooms, with a more country lodge feel to it and it now benefits from full central heating fuelled by our wood chip boiler, so you can be warm, and environmentally friendly! Dogs are welcome.

Corncrake Cottage

Corncrake Cottage is a stone built 3 bedroom holiday cottage with a traditional black felt roof. Ideally located near Balevullin beach and Wild Diamond windsurfing school, it's perfectly placed to enjoy Tiree. Inside, the cottage is stylish, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. You'll have the entire house to yourselves, with a cosy upstairs TV lounge and a spacious open-plan kitchen downstairs with sofas and a large dining table - ideal for gathering after a day at the beach.

Charming East Cottage, Haunn, Isle of Mull

East Cottage at Haunn is one of three traditional 'blackhouses' in a remote location at Haunn, Treshnish Farm nr Calgary Beach, on the Isle of Mull. East Cottage has been eco-renovated to provide simple yet comfortable, stylish accommodation for 2. There is no Wifi in the cottage, but 4G signal outside and we have Wifi available for guests a mile away at Treshnish. There are lovely coastal and hill walks from here, without getting in the car. Amazing wildlife too!

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.

Four Winds is a stunning architect-designed house overlooking Loch Bhassapol. It is newly constructed within original stone walls and finished to the very highest standard. It is an excellent base for relaxing in comfort or enjoying watersports at the nearby loch and beaches. As featured in Grand Designs Magazine. Not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Cala Fearnadh Off-Grid cabin, Bunessan, Mull

Cala Fearnadh is a new, unique, off-grid cottage in a quiet village, with stunning sea views of Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, and beyond. There is nothing quite like it anywhere on the island! Electric power is 12 volt, generated by a combination of solar and wind energy. Water comes from the tranquil Loch Assapol, which supplies much of the area.
