The Beach House Strangford

Unique and stunning self-catering cottage situated on Kilclief Beach, metres from the waves. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near Strangford - enjoy water sports (especially swimming), walking, cycling, bird watching, relaxing and much more in our cosy one-bedroom home. Certified by Tourism NI, all our rooms (except the bathroom!) have spectacular sea views. Restaurants only a short drive away with mountains, golf courses, nature reserves and much more within easy reach.

Ballyhornan Cottage

A beautiful cottage, set off the main road with private parking and large back garden. Surrounded by fields and only a 2 minute walk to Killard beach and the start of the breathtaking Killard National Reserve walk. Just a 10 minute walk in the other direction will have you at Ballyhornan Beach. Castle Ward Estate and Winterfell (GOT) is only 4 miles away and so is the picturesque village of Strangford with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The house has been recently refurbished.

It is an adults only cottage so no under 18s allowed to stay or visit. No pets allowed to stay or visit.

With over 100 years of history, this beautiful white cottage is located at the start of main street In Ballyhornan. The cottage is around a 1 minute walk to the beach, you can see it clearly standing at the front door. Although the cottage has lots of his history, it is decorated with a modern twist. It has the perfect back garden which is not only peaceful and relaxing but it the best sun trap. 3 miles from Ardglass, 6 Miles from Strangford and 7 miles from Downpatrick.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Enjoy the setting of this romantic Luxury Mountain Escapes on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack. Look out for Honey the Falabella pony and afew goats.

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.

The Alms Cottage - Strangford (Dog Friendly)

Relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. Metres from the beautiful Castleward estate and only a few minutes from County Downs most picturesque village. This one bedroom cottage is nestled in the grounds of the stunning listed Alms House constructed in 1832 by Lady Ward. A perfect place for couples to enjoy the stunning countryside and idyllic Strangford Lough at the same time.

The Anchor Apartments 2A

The apartments are very modern and spacious, located in the centre of the beautiful coastal village of Ardglass, a two minute walk from the local golf course, 10 minute drive from Castleward , part of the national trust and home to the set of Game of Thrones. They boost an individual bath and power shower, perfect for relaxing after a hard day hiking the trails or on the golf course.
