If you feel energetic enough you can walk over the head to the harbour, where fresh fish is for sale , or just meander along the beach.

This 150 yr old cottage has been restored bringing its facilities into the 21st century but still possessing some of those original features of a time gone by. Lizzie's cottage is adjacent to a family home complete with its own parking, jacuzzi and bbq facilities. The cottage offers spectacular views of Slieve Donard and is close to Castlewellan and Newcastle as well as 40minutes from Belfast.

Ivy Cottage is set at the foot of the beautiful Mourne Mountains, overlooking the harbour in Newcastle.
