Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

We are less than 2 miles from Lakepointe Marina and other drop ins to the lake. We are minutes from Spring Hill and surrounding areas for all of you that are coming to hunt. 3 miles from the historic town of Eufaula with restaurants and amenities. We are pet friendly! Screened in porch with TV & pool table. Shelter for your boat with a bonus deck under the shelter. Community boat ramp. There are two guest passes on the island in the kitchen.

Enjoy a roomy screened-in porch with partial view of Otho Creek that's on beautiful Lake Eufaula. Relax in this updated space that offers a comfortable king bed, queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, dart board, pool table, & an outdoor grill. We also have a garage for boat or truck parking which has a 12 ft wide x 10 foot high door and measures 27 1/2 ft inside.

The Osprey

The Osprey is a cozy cottage with its own private dock and is nestled along the water front of Pataula creek at Lake Walter F. George, nationally recognized for it's great fishing. Spectacular views, peaceful surroundings, evening star gazing, and deer all year long grazing in the yard. Pataula State Park is 2 miles away for very convenient boat launching.

Nestled in the woods on a spring-fed pond that flows to the East Fork Choctawhatchee River, our newest addition—Stillwater Cabin—is a peaceful, cozy retreat. Fish steps from the porch, unwind by the firepit, and explore nearby Lake Eufaula and Barbour County WMA. Private, relaxing, and fully equipped—perfect for couples, small families, or outdoor lovers.
