Come for a relaxing weekend by the fire, enjoying the surrounding nature and wildlife. Great little fully equipped kitchen, lovely large old rambling garden with enclosing post and wire fences. Pets are welcome but we need to know they are coming and please bring their beds. If you pet has anxiety issues, best for neighbours & visitors that they go with you on day trips.

A few minutes drive from Talbot and 15 minutes drive from the famous Clunes Book Town. Being Central Victoria we have many small towns surrounding us within an hours drive.

Union House c.1861

Union House is a unique part of Castlemaine's history. Built in the early 1860's in the central area of the town, it is a minutes walk from all the town's attractions- the galleries, restaurants, hotels, theatre, boutiques, supermarket, and easy walking distance to the gardens, regional parks, railway station, and the Woollen Mill complex. The cottage has been recently renovated to amalgamate its historic features with contemporary comforts and luxurious appointments.
