Colobus and vervet monkeys add charm, while evenings can. bring visits from leopards, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, impala, and aardvark at the water hole. The cottage features a spacious veranda, a lounge with a fireplace, and kitchen. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms offer comfort. Hot water is heated by a kuni booster, ensuring a cozy and sustainable stay.

The farm is at the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river that flows to form Thompson's falls in Nyahururu town which is a 20 minutes drive from the house. Other activities include walking along the shores of lake Olbolosat, picnic at the same lake and a visit to the magical blue waters of Nyakanja.

Comfortable house in Solai

We built this house in the vicinity of lake Solai because there is absolutely nowhere else for us to stay when we visit the area. In the past, we had to always stay in hotels at least 30Km away or more, but now we can be in the middle of this isolated area enjoying all the comforts that a modern house can offer.
